Free membership
Free Dialogue Rooms membership requires a first and last name and an email address. No identity document, date of birth, ChatGPT account, or payment is requested. The blog stores the name, email address, membership date, selected language, and a protected technical identifier used to maintain access on the device. Email addresses are never shown to other readers; the name identifies approved contributions in the Dialogue Rooms.
Private room with the author
Members may open a private editorial room with Tito Bisson. Messages and their history are accessible only to the reader on the authorized device and to the author through the protected administration area. Conversations are not published or indexed and do not constitute psychological counseling, psychotherapy, or an emergency service. The room uses a protected technical identifier separate from the membership identifier. Readers may request access, correction, or deletion of the conversation by contacting the data controller.
Messages to the author and readers’ words
When you use the features connected to a book, we collect your name, email address, and the text of your message or review; reviews also include the rating you submit. Messages are accessible only to the author. Approved reviews display only the chosen name, rating, text, and date; email addresses are never published. Limited technical data is processed to prevent spam and abuse. You may request correction or deletion by contacting the data controller.
App notifications
If you choose to enable app notifications, we store only the technical delivery endpoint generated by your device, the public keys required for delivery, and your selected language. This data does not allow the blog to read other information stored on your device and is used only to announce new articles, new books, or important editorial updates. You may withdraw consent at any time from the “News and notifications” panel; turning notifications off removes the subscription from the system. Expired subscriptions are deleted automatically.
Purpose and legal basis
Your email address is used exclusively to send “Letters from Within the Words,” including reflections, book previews, updates, and new content. Processing is based on the consent you provide when subscribing.
Confirmation and withdrawal of consent
Subscription uses a double opt-in confirmation process. You may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Services used
Subscriptions and email delivery are managed through Brevo. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent bots and abusive subscriptions. These providers process the data necessary to deliver their respective services under their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention and your rights
Data is retained until you unsubscribe, subject to any legal obligations or legitimate need for protection. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your data and may object to processing. You may also file a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
Comments and responses
When you submit a comment or response, we collect your chosen name, email address, contribution, and limited technical data needed for security and abuse prevention. Your email address and technical data are never published. Your name and contribution become visible only after moderation. Processing is based on consent and on the legitimate need to protect the blog from spam and unlawful conduct. You may request correction or deletion of your contribution at any time by contacting the data controller.
